Firm Overview
Our firm offers unique opportunities for professional development and growth. These opportunities are a product of our firm’s culture, philosophy, moderate size, geographical market and diverse client base. We are one of the most well respected firms in Kansas. This respect is earned by the quality and intensity of our legal representation.
Our attorneys enjoy the advantages of a firm with a wide spectrum of practice areas, and an excellent portfolio of clients – ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. Our moderate size allows our associates to gain experience in multiple practice areas and to do substantive and independent work very early in their careers. Our firm culture promotes bar and community involvement, interpersonal connection with peers, and a healthy work/life balance.
Bar and Community Involvement
One of the hallmarks of our firm is our active involvement in national, state, and local bar and professional organizations, as well as community organizations. Our attorneys have served as presidents of the Kansas and Wichita Bar Associations, the Kansas and Wichita Young Lawyers, and the Kansas and Wichita Women Attorneys Association. Many of our attorneys are also leaders in other community and philanthropic organizations. The firm’s level of engagement with professional and community organizations reflects our belief that such engagement benefits our attorneys on both a personal and professional level, promotes our firm, and ultimately benefits our clients.

Student Testimonial
My time as a summer associate at Hite, Fanning & Honeyman, LLP was educational and enjoyable. As a summer associate, I was able to work on projects for every partner of the firm, which allowed me to experience many different areas of law. Not only did this help me to determine what kind of law I would like to practice, but it also allowed me to receive feedback from practicing attorneys. Also, I gained invaluable experience by writing motions and attending depositions, trials, and mediations. I was invited to attend many lunches, dinners, and Wichita Bar Association events, such as playing lawyer league softball and attending Wichita Young Lawyers’ Association meetings. The attorneys at Hite, Fanning & Honeyman, LLP were interested in getting to know me, my interests, and personality, which made me feel welcome and helped me to decide if the Firm was a “fit” for me.
